U.S. SBA Invites Kitch Walker to Present at Women in Business Confab

The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) and SCORE (Service Counselors to America’s Small Businesses) invited Kitch Walker, President & Cofounder of Ripple Marketing, to present at the 2009 Women in Business Conference in West Yellowstone, Montana August 27-28th, 2009.   Walker is no stranger to the SBA’s premier event. He’s been tapped to speak at every SBA Women in Business Conference in Montana since founding his firm, Ripple Marketing, in 1998.

This year Mr. Walker presented “The Art & Science of Marketing: Creating Symphonies in Tough Times” to Montana women business owners and entrepreneurs, state officials, local economic development groups, representatives of various banking institutions and other resource providers participating in the conference.

“It was an honor to present again at this year’s conference," said Kitch Walker. "While I always enjoy sharing valuable marketing insights and strategies with attendees, I always come away humbled and motivated by the amazing stories, unrelenting efforts and truly awe-inspiring successes of women business owners and entrepreneurs in Montana. We are truly lucky to have such passionate and talented individuals leading businesses in our state’s communities.”

According to the SBA:
In today's society, every day, women are multi-tasking as moms, mentors, caregivers, and professionals. This can be overwhelming at times, worrying about family matters, dinner, soccer schedules, and aging parents, all the while trying to build a career or healthy business and plan for the future. However impossible it may seem at times, there are absolutely no limits to what you as a woman can achieve, as long as you are equipped with the right tools, a solid plan, and a positive attitude.

That's what this special event for women is all about - to bring powerful information, tools and skills to help women find time to be healthy, bring balance to their personal and professional life, plan for their future, build their business, motivate themselves, and help achieve their personal and professional success.

Participants will gain knowledge on marketing, increasing leadership impact, protecting your greatest assets (employees), assessing the financial well being of a business, and much more….

Other conference presenters included:

  • Michelle Johnston, SBA District Director – Montana
  • Chris Penor, President of Penor & Associates, CPA
